ofwpinoytambayan, known to Filipino fans all over the world as Ofwinson Pangay, is a Filipino action film directed by Bernardo Bertolita. It star ABS Periyaki, Riki Suzuki, Gaelle Adairon, Edward Manino, and Mike Reyes. The film of course, won many awards, and of course, it did remarkably well at the box office.

This Is Filipino Entertainment or TV series follows the story of Ofwinson Pangay, a young Philippine who moves to the United States. He tries to find his way into a better life in New York City, but gets mixed up in the darker side of human nature when his roommate suddenly dies. Then he falls into the arms of a very disturbed girl named Fernanda who becomes his new love interest and guide for his life's journey. The two of them travel to the island of Banaue, where they encounter other characters, and of course, more tragedy as their story unfolds.

Of course, it wasn't long before we saw Fernanda again, this time in an off-screen role of a lead in a soap opera. Yes, she was still Ofwinson Pangay. And of course, the soap opera went on to become one of the most watched shows in the Philippines, and of all television shows in the country, it became one of the most watched television shows of all time. Aside from the soap opera, Ofwinson Pangay also became famous as a martial arts expert, and as a mixed martial artist who trained both wrestlers and kickboxers under the tutelage of his trainer, Kano. He later went on to coaching fighters in Hollywood, and even helped design some of the techniques employed by characters like Bruce Lee.

In recent years, however, Fernanda has seemingly gone back into the world of television. One of her recent shows, she appeared as a guest contestant on another popular soap opera in the Philippines. Although her appearance did not directly promote martial arts, it did promote another martial art that she is now involved with. That other art is karate. Now, this woman who once appeared on Ofwinson Pangay's soap has created her own line of DVDs of her fighting techniques, which has since become extremely popular not only in the Philippines but throughout the world.

Of course, it should be noted that Ofwinson Pangay is not the only martial arts expert in the Philippines. There are many others. But there is something about Fernanda that people simply love. This could be the lovable nature of the girl or maybe it is just her own passion for martial arts that makes her such an interesting character. Regardless of who you are or where you come from, there is no denying that you can probably identify with someone like Fernanda. Her story, while not the typical story of somebody who went from rags to riches, is still a remarkable one.
